This one year course is conducted in
the Buddhist & Pali College (affiliated to the Buddhist & Pali
University of Sri Lanka), located in Mangala Vihara (Buddhist
Temple). The Buddhist & Pali College was founded in 1994 and the first Diploma exam was
conducted in 1995.
Attendance have to be at least 70%. Interested
applicants need to submit the following:

Attestation to be done by the Principal of the
Buddhist & Pali College.
b)
2 passport photos.
c)
A copy of IC/ passport/ Birth certificate.
d)
Payment of S$20 X 12 months = S$240/ - for
maintenance fees for the temple,
for the one year
course, payable upfront.
e)
US$52/- to be paid for registration to the
Buddhist & Pali University.
Registration ends on 30 June 2009. The class will
commence in October 2009, students will be informed.

Eligibility: Above 18 years of age,
Ability to read and write
English,
Having some basic knowledge
of Buddhism would be an advantage.
Examination: Conducted by the Buddhist &
Pali University of Sri Lanka. Those who pass the
Diploma are eligible to proceed for the Bachelor of
Arts in Buddhist Studies.
