• A scholar in chemistry & Buddhism

• He combined science teaching with religious activities throughout his university teaching career for 48 years

• Retired as Professor of Chemistry

• Visiting Professor in International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University, Yangon.

• He has conducted over 250 Abhidhamma classes worldwide & has delivered many lectures on Buddhism & meditation

      President of International Pa-auk Forest Buddha Sasana Centres for practice of

      Samatha & Vipassana Meditation
